Relaxer Privacy Policy
Relaxer is an iPhone app for offline ambient listening. It does not require an account. Music playback, Brown Noise generation, Favorites, language preference, volume, and sleep-timer preferences are handled on your device.
Information Used by the App
- Listening preferences and Favorites: Relaxer stores your saved track IDs, language preference, default sleep-timer preference, and Premium entitlement state in local iPhone storage. This information is not sent to a Relaxer-operated server.
- Audio playback: Brown Noise is generated on your iPhone and the music library is bundled in the app. Relaxer does not upload your listening activity or audio.
- Advertising: The Free version may display Google Mobile Ads banner advertisements in approved in-app locations. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as device information, IP address, identifiers, and ad-interaction data to provide, measure, limit, or personalize advertising, subject to your region and privacy choices. - Privacy choices: Where required, Relaxer uses Google's User Messaging Platform to show a consent message before requesting ads. You can revisit available advertising choices in Relaxer under Settings > Privacy > Privacy Choices.
Data Sharing and Retention
Relaxer does not operate an account system or a server that receives your listening preferences, Favorites, or generated audio. Local preferences remain on your device until you remove them, reset the app, or uninstall Relaxer. Advertising-related data is processed by Google and applicable advertising partners under their own policies and the choices you provide.
Your Choices
You can manage advertising privacy choices from Settings when that option is required for your region. You can remove individual Favorites at any time. You can also delete Relaxer from your iPhone to remove its local app data. You may manage system-level advertising and privacy controls in iOS Settings.
Children's Privacy
Relaxer is not directed to children. Do not use the app with advertising enabled if you are not permitted to provide the required privacy choices in your region.
Changes
If this policy changes, this page will be updated with a new effective date before the related release.
